APPROACH: This assignment was a music based project that I chose to base off of Noah Cyrus's 'The End of Everything'. This song has complex lyrics that describe the inevitable death that we, the world, and all of our loved ones face while using this to provide comfort in the fact that one day all of our worries and fears will also be gone. I wanted to depict this eerie complexity in a invitational poster design. The poster invites you to an ominous celebration of the end. The first version is of the poster as it is, and the second version, which I consider the finished version, showcases the poster after the party has taken place and there is nothing but old confetti, spilled wine, and wet glass stains left.
